My Counselling Practice

I work with a wide range of concerns that bring people to therapy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, identity exploration, or simply feeling stuck — this space is here for you. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experience. I understand that no two journeys are the same, and I aim to meet each person where they are, holding space for whatever you bring with warmth and respect. Therapy can be a place to untangle confusion, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
I specialise in:
-
Trauma informed Therapy - processing and understanding childhood or adult trauma.
-
Neurodiversity - I am a therapist with lived experience (although call myself neuro-spicy).
-
Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity, including ethical non-monogamy and polyamory.
Adult and Childhood Trauma
Trauma can touch every part of our lives, but it does not define who you are. Whether the hurt began in childhood or more recently, therapy offers a space where your story is heard with compassion and without judgment. I bring trauma-informed training to my work, meaning I approach every conversation with deep awareness of the ways trauma can shape emotions, relationships, and the body. Together, we gently uncover the impact of past experiences, helping you understand how they have shaped you — and, importantly, how they do not have to hold you back. Through a supportive and collaborative approach, we focus on strengthening your inner resilience, reconnecting you with your natural sense of wholeness, and helping you move toward a future shaped by choice, not fear. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk the journey alone.
Neurodiversity
I believe that neurodiversity is not something to be "fixed" — it’s something to be understood, celebrated, and supported. My work with neurodivergent clients is rooted in both specialist training and the deep insight that comes from my own lived experience. I know firsthand how exhausting it can be to navigate a world that isn’t always built with your mind in mind. In our sessions, you won’t be asked to mask who you are — instead, we’ll create a space where your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and being are welcomed and respected. Whether you’re exploring your identity, managing overwhelm, or seeking new ways to thrive, we’ll work together to find paths that feel authentic to you. Therapy is not about changing you — it’s about supporting you to be more fully yourself.
LGBTQ+ Clients
You deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are — no masks, no explanations, just you. As someone committed to LGBTQ+ affirmative practice, I offer therapy that honours the richness, complexity, and beauty of your identity. Whether you’re exploring who you are, healing from past wounds, navigating love and belonging, or simply wanting a place where you are fully seen, this space is yours. My work is shaped by specialist training, lived experience within the community, and a deep belief that your identity is a source of strength, not something to be "worked through." Here, we celebrate all the layers of who you are, and walk together toward healing, authenticity, and joy.
Polyamory & Ethically Non-Monogamy
Living and loving authentically takes courage. If you’re exploring or practicing non-monogamy or polyamory, or if your coming to therapy for something else, but want a therapist who understands this aspect of you therapy can be a powerful space to strengthen your voice, deepen self-trust, and navigate the complexities of connection with confidence. Together, we can work through challenges like communication, boundaries, jealousy, or societal pressures — while also celebrating your growth, resilience, and relational creativity. I offer a supportive, affirming space where your choices are honoured and your journey toward deeper self-awareness and fulfillment is fully supported.
